The Child-Parent Security Act And Women: Navigating The Changing Landscape For Assisted Family Building
This program will discuss the Child-Parent Security Act with a lens on its impact for women. Speakers will each speak generally about the law and then we will have a moderated Q&A with a focus on the agency that is provided to New York women under this law, including a discussion about single women and parentage, the agency of deciding whether to become or use a surrogate, and the progressive approach to embryo donation. The law truly expands women’s rights in navigating the changing landscape of assisted family building.
