Bankruptcy Practice and Procedure During the COVID-19 Pandemic (Webinar)
- The COVID-19 pandemic has imposed severe limitations on the constituents of the United States Bankruptcy Court system including the Office of the United States Trustee, debtors, creditors, attorneys, and the courts’ judges, clerks’ offices, and staffs. This program is designed to detail the impact COVID-19 has had on the practice of bankruptcy in New York state and orders that have been adopted and procedures that have been adapted to address the current crisis. Panelists William K. Harrington, United States Trustee, Regions 1 and 2, Hon. Cecelia G. Morris, Chief Judge, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, and Chief Clerk of the Court, Vito Genna, will describe the issues we face and the cooperation, practicality, and patience that will be required to address them during difficult economic times.
