Evidence in a Civil Trial

This CLE builds upon the NYSBA Trial Academy presentation on Evidence, Foundations and Objections – Civil which provided foundational information about what types of evidence are used in a civil proceeding, as well as basic information on objections to proffered evidence. This course will provide a more in depth discussion of certain evidentiary issues at a civil trial, with an emphasis on issues surrounding use of medical records, reports including hearsay and expert testimony.
