Ireland for Law and the International Section of the New York State Bar Association are pleased to introduce “Financial Services in Ireland post-Brexit” Session 1 which is geared towards lawyers from any jurisdiction who wish to learn more about the existing aspects of the Irish legal infrastructure surrounding the Financial Services sector that have attracted renewed focus in light of Brexit and other international developments.  This webinar will focus on the position of Ireland as a potential financial center post Brexit, the authorization process for regulated entities and the EU passporting regime, enforcement issues (including whether or not financial firms can expect more aggressive enforcement), and the Financial Services landscape post COVID given the movement away from centralized, physical offices.
